Size Guide

Every Zazureno piece is designed to fit a range of body shapes, but sizing can vary from one style to the next. This guide explains what the size information on our product pages means and how to use it to make a confident choice before you order.

What You'll Find on Product Pages

Most Zazureno apparel is offered in letter sizes from XS through 3XL. Some product pages include a garment measurement table showing dimensions such as bust, waist, hip, or length in inches. These are finished-product measurements—they describe the space the garment provides, not your body directly.

Not every product page carries a measurement table. When one is absent, the size option (XS, S, M, etc.) is the primary reference, and the product description may include fit language such as "regular fit," "relaxed," or "fitted." Always check the specific product page for the most relevant guidance on that item.

Body Measurements vs. Garment Measurements

These two things serve different purposes:

  • Body measurements are your own numbers—taken with a soft tape around the fullest part of the bust, the natural waist, and the widest part of the hips. They help you understand where you fall on a size range.
  • Garment measurements are the dimensions of the finished piece. They tell you how much room the fabric provides at each point.

When a product page shows a garment measurement table, compare your body numbers to those garment numbers. A garment bust of 34.5 inches, for example, means the piece is cut to accommodate a body bust around that range. If your measurement sits between two listed garment sizes, the product page may offer a sizing note—some Zazureno items recommend sizing up for comfort, but this is style-specific, not universal.

How to Take Your Measurements

Use a flexible sewing tape measure. Stand naturally without pulling the tape tight or letting it sag. Measure over thin, fitted undergarments or directly against skin for the most consistent result.

  • Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back.
  • Waist: Find the narrowest point of your torso, usually just above the navel. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and breathe normally.
  • Hip: Measure around the widest part of your hips and upper thighs, standing with feet together.

Our product pages note that manual measurements may vary by 0.4–1.2 inches. Treat any single number as approximate and allow a small margin when comparing.

Choosing Between Sizes

There is no single rule that applies across all Zazureno styles. A structured evening gown and a flowing maxi dress behave differently on the body, even at the same letter size. When you're between sizes:

  • Look at the product description for fit language (fitted, relaxed, column, A-line).
  • Identify which measurement is most critical for that silhouette—bust for a corset bodice, waist for a high-waisted skirt, hip for a column gown.
  • Consider how you want the piece to feel: close to the body or with ease.

If the product page includes a sizing recommendation (such as "size up if between sizes"), follow that guidance for that specific item only.

Still Unsure? Ask Before You Buy

If a product page doesn't give you enough information to decide, email us at porthc@zazureno.shop. To help us give you the most useful answer, include:

  • The product name or link
  • The sizes you're comparing
  • Your relevant body measurements (bust, waist, hip—only those that apply to the item)
  • How you'd like the piece to fit (snug, comfortable, roomy)
  • Anything on the product page that confused you

We'll do our best to help you narrow things down. We can't guarantee a perfect fit from a description alone, but we can point you toward the information that matters most for that style.
